Ridley Hall Matting Weekend 24th to 26th October, 2014. The event was not just for matters but also for other crafts too. There was a fantastic sharing of ideas and information with handy tips and boat-loads of inspiration. At the end of the weekend we were encouraged to show our works of art !!!. It was amazing and the company could not have been better. Roll on the next weekend which is in early May 2015.
The first Hexham bluegrass workshop for mandolins and guitars was a great success at Core Music, with 14 keen players being ably led by Laura-Beth Salter. The afternoon was followed by an all-instruments and vocals jam at the Tannery just down the road. Thanks to Gary and Gill for the brilliant organisation, to Laura-Beth for sharing her expertise with us, and to Rosie for the photos at the jam session.
